Alfred Autischer is the founder of Gaisberg Consulting. As an expert for litigation PR, he has overseen large disputes over the last few years as a communications advisor and/or spokesperson. Alfred possesses more than 20 years of international experience in the areas of reputation management and public affairs. In 1986, he founded his first PR agency in Salzburg together with Peter Hörschinger and Andreas Windischbauer. In 1999, he founded Trimedia Austria, which he merged in 2004 into the Huntsworth Group, listed on the London Stock Exchange and one of the largest and most renowned PR holding companies worldwide. Before founding Gaisberg Consulting he was the Managing Director Western Europe for Grayling. (formerly Trimedia) Alfred Autischer received a doctorate in Communication Studies from the University of Salzburg and teaches regularly at the Universities of Krems, St. Pölten and Vienna.




Sandra Luger is shareholder and managing partner at Gaisberg Consulting and has over 20 years of experience in strategy and communications consulting on the agency side. Sandra Luger has accompanied top managers and companies across all industries in their strategic positioning and in challenging phases such as restructuring, crises or strategy and innovation processes. Until 2011 she was a member of the Management Board of Grayling Austria. Prior to that, she was a consultant at Hauska & Fleishman Hillard for four years. Sandra Luger holds a master's degree in journalism and a translation degree from the University of Vienna. Sandra Luger was most recently involved in the development of the new course for Sustainability Communications at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences.




Verena Nowotny is a partner and authorized officer at Gaisberg Consulting. With more than 20 years of international experience she supports companies, start-ups and institutions mainly in the areas of strategic communication, crisis communication and public affairs. Verena Nowotny worked for more than ten years as a spokesperson for the Austrian Federal Government, including as foreign policy spokeswoman for Federal Chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel and as spokeswoman for Austria's non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council in New York. In 2007/08 she lived and worked in Shanghai. Verena Nowotny has worked as a spokesperson and crisis manager in numerous corporate and public crisis situations, including the 2004 tsunami catastrophe. She holds a Master's degree in Political Management from the George Washington University in Washington DC and a Master of Legal Studies from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Verena Nowotny teaches crisis communication at the Danube University Krems and at the FH Campus Vienna.




Christiane Berghold is managing director at Gaisberg Consulting. In this position she is responsible for the financial and HR management of the firm. She possesses an extensive know-how of the communications industry and knows all organisational requirements in working with the media and companies. Prior to joining Gaisberg she was an advisor and office manager of a large Austrian firm. Before that Christiane organised the non-partisan committee of President Heinz Fischer in the 2010 elections and worked in the cabinet of former Finance Minister Ferdinand Lacina.




Thomas Huemer is Partner and Senior Consultant at Gaisberg Consulting. With more than 20 years of national and international experience, his focus is on litigation PR, crisis communication and strategic consulting. Thomas Huemer has a profound know-how in the areas of strategy development, international M&A projects, international communication work, crisis communications and litigation PR. Before joining Gaisberg Consulting, Thomas Huemer was Head of Communications at the international Schweighofer Group, Head of Corporate Communications at Meinl Bank AG and press spokesman for the oil and gas group OMV. Prior to that, Thomas Huemer was Head of Public Relations for the association of architects and engineering consultants. At the beginning of his career, the historian and political scientist worked in the Parliamentary Club of the Liberales Forum as a research assistant and press officer.




Paul Trummer is a communications advisor at Gaisberg Consulting and supports clients in challenging situations in dealing with the media. Before his work with Gaisberg he gained extensive communications experience on the national and international level as the spokesman for a finance minister. He owes his practical know-how and knowledge of the Austrian media scene to his long activity as an economic and political journalist for an Austrian newspaper. Paul graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business with a degree in Business Administration.




Silvio Piskernigg advises clients in the areas of financial and crisis communication. He is a versatilely communication expert with international experience, especially in the financial sector. Before Gaisberg Consulting he worked for First Data, one of the world’s leading service providers in the area of cashless payments. There he worked in various marketing & communications positions in Austria and the United Kingdom, most recently as Communications Manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland. Before that he gained experience with Austrian banks. Silvio received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, with study visits to England and Italy. He is lecturer for Crisis Communication and Issue Management at the University of Applied Sciences Krems.




Ute Stocker is a senior consultant at Gaisberg Consulting and advises clients in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and construction industries. She supports companies primarily in the areas of digital communication, strategic corporate and expert positioning, brand management and employer branding. In addition to her diploma in Theatre, Film and Media Studies, she holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication Studies from the University of Vienna.




Mira Leodolter is a Senior Consultant at Gaisberg and supports companies primarily in the communication and implementation of change and strategy processes as well as in the development of their strategic brand positioning. Before joining Gaisberg, she worked for the international HS Timber Group in the Corporate Communications department and as a political officer in the State Secretariat of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. She gained international public affairs experience at BUSINESSEUROPE in Brussels and at the Federation of Industry. Mira Leodolter holds a bachelor's degree in international business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and a master's degree in development management from the London School of Economics (LSE).




Felix Wagner is Head of Digital at Gaisberg Consulting. He has several years of agency experience in the development and implementation of international communication strategies, campaign management and the positioning of brands in the digital age with a special focus on social media. With the clients he supports, he covers a broad spectrum in B2B as well as B2C from food to energy management to transportation. In addition to a creative bachelor's degree in music production, he also completed an executive bachelor's degree in marketing & sales at WU Vienna.




Johanna Carotta is a consultant at Gaisberg Consulting and has experience in a variety of fields of communications. During her studies of translation and media sciences, with a focus on public relations, she already gained valuable experience in the communications industry. After several jobs at major events, she completed an internship in the marketing department of a municipal service provider and, most recently, worked for a Viennese PR agency.




Michele Goll is Office Manager at Gaisberg Consulting and coordinates the organizational and administrative processes of the agency. She has several years of professional experience in the field of event management. Before she worked as a general manager for a Viennese company from the event industry. Since October 2019 she is studying part-time Economics and Social Sciences at the university of economy Vienna.
